Karate Club

This fun sporting activity is run by an external provider Mrs Channa Frolic, a 4th Dan SEFKO instructor.

Teaching years 1-6 during during two sessions, this after school club encourages co-ordination, discipline, balance and an understanding of martial arts. They wear a Karate white top and trousers together with the relevant coloured belt. The children can progress through their belts starting with a yellow stripe belt. There are regular gradings and SEFKA competitions should the children wish to take part.

Currently a waiting list is in operation for the 3.15pm class. Please register your childs interest in the school office.

The first session takes place on a Thursday during the school term, running most weeks from 3.15-4.15pm at £3 per session if paid termly. The second session takes place also on a Thursday between 4.30-5.30pm at £4 per session. Both take place in the school hall at Bures Primary School. There is a ‘pay as you go’ option of £5 per week should your child wish to take part on this basis. Once registered, Mrs Frolic will keep you updated on the club dates each term together with competitions etc.
