Welcome to Bures CEVC Primary School

Through exciting and adventurous learning experiences within a healthy, safe and dynamic environment we help everyone in our community to realise their limitless potential.

With a strong Christian ethos, we promote belief and faith in ourselves and others, courageously sharing, caring, and forgiving whilst celebrating both our similarities and differences.

We challenge pupils to become life-long learners who have the confidence, self-esteem, resilience and desire to achieve excellence in all they do.

Explore. Believe. Shine.

Bures Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School is a warm, inviting village school set in the heart of historic Bures. It is our aim to ensure that every child receives the education that they deserve.

Here at Bures academic excellence goes hand in hand with personal success. Be it an interest in sport, music, or art we want all children to grow to be well rounded individuals.

If you would like further information or to arrange a visit to the school, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please contact our school office on 01787 227 446. For more details on applying for a place at our school from Nursery to Year 6 please follow this link to our admissions page.

Bures Laptop Target – 10 Laptops.    We have raised enough funds for – 10 laptops and 5 iPads!

We would like to say an enormous thank you to everyone who has donated to the school to raise funds for our laptop appeal.  We have raised a staggering amount – well over our target and will now be able to purchase 10 laptops and 5 iPads to assist children with their home-learning!

In addition to this, we have received a number of second hand laptops, Chrome Books and other devices which has been such a great help.  We have worked hard this week to wipe these and make them secure as quickly as possible to pass onto those and offer immediate accessibility to our home schooling.

We have really have been overwhelmed by the generosity and support we have received from the local community.  We cannot thank you enough for everything especially as we appreciate this is a difficult time for you all .
