Advent is a preparation time in the Church, in readiness for celebrating Christmas. It is a time when Christians reflect on their life and prepare their hearts and minds to welcome Jesus into their life again. During the day, the children heard the Bible story of Jesus’ birth and took part in activities, attending different themed prayer stations that helped them to reflect on the story and the themes it brings to light.
